The “Strokes for Hope Golf Classic” has grown to become one of Sudbury’s most prestigious golf tournaments.

The annual "Strokes for Hope Golf Classic" provides an opportunity for players to mingle with colleagues and business acquaintances, while providing an opportunity to raise money for local patient care and cutting-edge research conducted at the Northeast Cancer Center. 

The tournament takes place on the 3rd Thursday in August and is hosted by Timberwolf Golf Club.  The event is a shot gun start / scramble format which allows for novice golfers to participate.  It is a fun day of golf, games, a B.B.Q. on the course, as well as gifts and prizes sponsored by participating businesses and supporters.

The day wraps up with a wonderful dinner prepared by Timberwolf’s executive chef, served in their beautiful Pavilion. 

Proceeds from Strokes for Hope Golf Classic go to the Northern Cancer Foundation in support of vital patient care, treatment programs and leading-edge cancer research at the Northeast Cancer Center in Sudbury.
