The 2012 EZ Rock "Radiothon of Hope" raised $70,000 for the Northeast Cancer Center (NECC). These dollars will be directly supporting the purchase of much-needed equipment for the NECC. The 7th annual event involved testimonials from patients and their loved ones as well as Staff of the NECC. The messages we heard over and over again were about the exceptional care that our patients receive and the dedication to improving the quality of treatment offered at the Centre.
This long-standing partnership culminates in the presentation of the annual NCF Hope Jewellery Collection. The necklace, earrings and bracelet can be purchased individually or as a set. The 2012 design celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Northern Cancer Foundation in Sudbury, and honours the donors and supporters that have contributed to its success. 50% of the sale price of these items goes back to the Foundation to help carry on its mission of supporting the Northeast Cancer Centre. The collection was retired at the end of 2012 and pieces are available while supplies last.

Sam Bruno P.E.T. Scan Committee- Dinner & Fundraising Gala
During his personal battle, Bruno became a strong advocate of Positron Emission Tomography ( P.E.T.) scanning, a diagnostic imaging tool that has been known to help patients in the battle against certain forms of cancer as well as heart disease.
