Cristina Faiella Roque was an inspiration throughout Sudbury, as a Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach with Sampo Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, as a Soccer Coach with Sudburian Soccer Club, as a Yoga instructor at Good Life Fitness Club, as an Elementary School teacher for the Rainbow District School Board… on March 5, 2012 at the age of 29, Cristina died after a four year battle with NON HODGKINS LYMPHOMA.

Cristina and her family travelled to Ottawa for her treatments throughout the four years of her illness. Although... there are travel grants available, the costs that are incurred (lodging, gas, food) can be a tremendous strain on families. It is with this in mind that Cristina’s family and friends decided to organize an event to raise funds for families in this position.

The event is called “Cristina’s Coffee House.” Monies raised from this event will go to help cancer patients and their families that must travel for treatment. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the Caruso Club and Faiella's Classic Hair. Proceeds will support the new "Cristina Care Fund" of the Northern Cancer Foundation.
